Hello, I'd like to adopt Lace. I did some changes.

Appearance: dark skinned, no visible scars; slightly sun-faded reddish brown hair, falls to mid-low back, she likes to wear it in a single tail, up at the back of her head, to keep it out of her face, at time she decorates/ beautify her hair with shells or the shiny stones she finds on the beach; pale foamy-green eyes, webbed ears, does not have webbing on fingers or fins on her arms.

Body Build: curvy and well-toned

Usually Seen Wearing: aqua green colored preserver-silk short sleeved top trimmed in white, an ankle-length flowing silk skirt, and often a finely embroidered white and green wrap. She also has a huge selection of other clothing.

Weapon preference: do shears and pins count? Prefers not to use any weapons, but helps fishing with a net. And in case of danger she does have a small knife, just for protection. She genarally uses it to cut off plants or pick something out of the sand.

Magic: none beyond a remarkably strong empathy; sending voice, which feels cool and smooth like satin. Due to her sending, she developed a close bond with Serpent Fang. At one point they were lovemates, these days they seek each others company from time to time and sometimes they share furs with each other.

Family: (To be decided, likely parents are dead); is considered by Coral to be his closest friend, and she confides in him many things that she wouldn’t tell others.

Personality: one of the Sea Elves who spends far more time on land than in the water, Lace lives up to her name. She is complicated, detail-oriented, and a perfectionist. Lace is not much of a flirt, but prefers male company (and to watch them), isn’t interested in taking a female lover. Lace has a firm way with anyone when she needs to get a point across, though not to the point of sounding annoyed or aggressive – any aggression she has, she puts into the details of her work instead of fuming or arguing.

Likes: preservers for their uses, but not for their shrill voices! Calm but cool days (prefers overall coolness than a breeze); listening to songs and stories while she works; has a distinct weak spot for pretty crystals and loves geodes.
Dislikes: hurricanes, tidalwaves, grit getting everywhere, gore (have you seen what bile does to silk?)

Skills: using preserver silk as well as plant fibers, Lace is an extremely talented spinner, weaver, clothing designer and tailor. She has impeccable fashion sense, but doesn’t fault those who choose to wear simple or rough outfits – she knows the value of practicality as well as beauty. She does not generally work with leather as far as the tanning or creation of leather from hide, but she will certainly incorporate leather, fur, shells, scales and feathers into almost any piece. Learning more and more about the Wolffolk has made her curious to how they make clothes and at times combiness their style with hers. She has been trading furs and leather for some of her own creations and fabrics.

History: Lace has spent the better part of her life perfecting her skills with fabrics, and it shows. She’s gone through phases: some years she enjoys making heavy, thick material fit for draping and tapestries, others she’s concentrated on impossibly fine lacework that is all but sea foam in look and feel. She will often task members of either tribe to find her new plants or minerals with which to dye her threads, or to find her the ‘perfect match’ for an item such as shells, crystals or pearls.
One day Lace was searching for new materials and in her walk she ended up at the top of the Cliff, high above the entrance of the cave. Finally she had found new flax to twine new yarn from. So busy pulling the flax out of the ground she didn't noticed she was too close to the edge. And with one hard pull she lost her balance, slipped and fell over the edge. On her way down she grabbed at everything, trying to break her fall.
Her tribesmen were shocked as they heard a loud thumb and found Lace all broken and covered with blood. Fortunatly Kaimeta was visiting and within seconds she started healing her, it took her the better part of a day to heal Lace and more sessions were needed before her body was completely healed. Her recovery was hard and painfull and it took Lace over two turns of the seasons to learn how to walk again, still to this day her left leg hurts after a long day of hard work.
In the beginning she was afraid to go up the cliff again, but she wanted to face her fear, after climbing the cliff each time a little further, she now is able to enjoy the view again, though she never will loose her fear of heights.

Any Other Information: As old as she is, she’s seen a lot of the Wolf elves come and go, but has always found the tribe as a whole fascinating. She knows that they would prefer more sturdy leather and fur to her delicate creations, but she always offers to fix anything that their own tailor or tanner has not yet if there are rips or holes to be found.

Lace has not Recognized, and although she says pips are clumbsy, messy and distractive, she loves it when they come to her and ask her for small pieces of cloth or leather, so they can make something for their own. She loves to teach them how to make something. A few pips have a kind of doll, so they try to make something for it. She doesn't know if she ever wants a pip of her own.
For now her life is full.
If and when Recognition (or outside Recognition) will give her a pip, she will deal with it then.

hmm...all i can see it really needing is clarification that maybe she keeps her tail of hair over her shoulder, if we're following the picture? to be perfectly honest when you said a tail, i tend to think like a high ponytail...^^0

ah, one other thing. please give her a soulname! once those two things are taken care of, i can go ahead and approve this profile.^^

At first the hair was tangled and would hang loose, but if she is a perectionist, her hair must be cared for...right? Oh and she does were it like a ponytail, like Leetah did in SotBM.

I am still thinking of a soulname and her parents. I like to make it as complete as I can!

but Leetah never really had a ponytail...she just had like a puff of hair at the base of her scalp. right?
