I don't know! Oakroot just did an open-sending... Wolfriders do let people fight their own quarrels/ fights/ battles if there is bad blood between 2 people/ wolves!

If it had been Oakroot fighting a wolffolk elf, Stormcloud wouldn't have interfered. But she doesn't trust Serpent Fang at all...

posted but idk what happened to lace, in the I've not heard of black sending cause i haven't read that far into the comics cause life is kind and mean throwing everything at me at once. so anyway if i could get filled in there that would be great. ^^

Lace has no special abilities other the white sending, meaning she can ease troubled minds, just by sending to you. She is very perceptive to other peoples thoughts. Joy, anger, grief, she will know it once she touches your mind. Serpent Fang is the opposite (correct me if I am wrong, please!), his sending are dark and can be painfull. He has taught Lace how to block most feelings from other because it was too much for her.
She is the only one who can recieve his sending, without the pain, because of her white sending. But the anger was too much and she was caught of guard, pushing her out of her body to a place she never has been before.
You know of Savah and her "going out"? Sunstream can do the same, this is how he met Brill, only Lace is in a dark place, because she never had done this....

Hope I have explained it a bit....

EDIT: she needs Kaimeta and Serpent Fang to help her return to her body.

And I hope you don't mind me twisting the story around....it just came up in my mind... Wink

Black sending is what Winnowill does in volume three of the original quest. Rayek also does it on the Bridge of Destiny in volume one. It's were sending inflicts pain upon the recipient due to the sender's anger or will to inflict mental pain.

ah ok! thanks guys! i think i understand enough for this. IF i do mess up just tell me and what i need to do to correct it. again I haven't had a lot of time to really read the comics since life blew up on me.

I just found out that my best friend's dad died of cancer. He was diagnosed last month and we thought he had two to eight more weeks.
