You want to meet the day after the festival or later? Oakroot wants to make new weapons after the hunt, but he could show her before how he likes them, maybe she can show how the Seafolk like their spearheads?

I think the morning after the festival Swirling will wait for Ridge, to explain everything to him:-)

Yes, but since we have done a tuskpig, I think we need another animal or situation...... an abandon trap, cliff or something like that? Or maybe the mate of the tuskpig, in revenge?

Hmmmm, yes he is a troubled man!
Where did he go? Just walked away or did he subconsiously walked to a hiding place? To me it seems he is the kind of guy who has a retreat for when things get too much for him! Maybe a kind of lookout/ crow's nest from where he can observe both? tribes?
Does he have a friend? He may/will be missed by that friend!

Unfortunately, he has no actual friends. He headed up the beach towards where he normally hunts alone because he's been hunting there for more than 500 years. It's more or less a place of comfort, or at least familiarity. He definitely retreats whenever things become too much for him.

Brooksong could go after him? I don't know where Hail is to post for ASh. Who Brook was supposed to be teaching to dance. :-?

Usually people like him have some one who likes him for him, eventhough he doesn't want or know it.

EDIT: just thought of this... maybe he is going on a hunt, gets hurt and he is found by Oakroot and who hunts with him? To weak to carry him to the holt Oakroot is troubled and somehow finds his healingpowers???

(Oakroot doesn't believe in half empty, he likes to keep it positive, so it is half full, lol)

Okay so I am back and posted.

One question, about something posted a while ago... should there be soul names in Oakroot's story? I mean, in a fanfic sure, but in the RP itself? How would he know the soul names of others, even if they lived a long time ago?

Yes, true. Had thought about that, but it felt right to put it in the story. If more want them out I will do so ofcourse!

Yeah, they use soulnames in comics and novels. And I would not have thought anything was wrong if you'd used it in a fanfic.

But... would the elves (canon or otherwise) know or reveal the soul name of someone else? Would Skywise tell of his bond with Cutter and casually mention Cutter's soul name is Tam? Would Clearbrook's descendants, centuries from now, speak aloud that One-Eye was Sur to his Recognized?

In the novels the stories are told by Longreach and he "tells" the soulnames too. It was just for the story, I don't know if he knew the names for real, but storywise I would have missed them if the weren't told. Just as I first missed Leetah's soulname, before I knew she didn't have one.

But again, if more want them removed I will do so.

Ah! I had forgotten that about Longreach, and you do have a point... I'm not demanding anyone to remove anything, I was just confused.

It is ok. I had thought of not putting Soulnames in the story, since they are hard to think of too.... . But I liked it better with them, so I added her Soulname.
