Ok. Thx. Can understand you want to know what everybody is doing.
And what of the dens and caves. We don't need to open new ones then right? Just add the close banner? And continue after....?

Yes dens, caves and kai's hut all use the same thread with the closed banner bbetween stories there. Basically what would be public areas are were youre going to make new threads for each line. So it doesn't get confusing.

Now if the character isnt at home and some one shows up the other character wont find them unless they return. So if someone were to go to kai's hut now they wouldn't find her. Make sense?

Yes it does. They could post it and maybe pm to ask if they are available for RP. If not, they do the close-banner and RP elsware, right?

Post by Leanan Tue Feb 10, 2015 2:50 pm

I'm trying to finish Stormcloud's chat with Crowspirit so we can move to the next day and I can send Stormcloud  to meet Kaimeta at the Everhome tree.

I have no plans for Snaketwist in the new day. Anyone got any ideas for what to do with him/where to put him/who with?

If you want to RP him, Tern can be free. He'll be speaking with Serpent Fang soon, but he isn't atm. Or, if you really wanted, I could pull Crow out of hiding, but we'd have to think up a way how.

yeah PMs are a good way to find out if someone wants to start an rp. Then the talk about it can be moved to an OOC thread but it doenst have to as long as it's 2 players. More than 2 need to have a thread to plan the story.

In the case of the close banner it's more like the divider between days. Like kai will be returning to her hut later in the same day, that' she went hunting, so the closed banner isn't up yet, cause in this case the story there with her isn't over yet.

So in the muliti player threads it's at the end of the story, but in dens, caves and private dwellings since most characters will end up there at the end of their day, the closed banner will show that they've moved to the next day.

In the case of Lace and Serpent in her cave right now you would use the closed banner when Serpent leaves the cave unless Lace stays behind then to use it at the end of the day that serpent left the cave. I know you guys are on the day after in her cave and that's fine.

really when it feel like the story line has reached it natural end, use the close banner or if you want to show the end of your characters day.

better?

I think Oakroot would love to see his niece as a fish!

.... just one more question. Ridge sended to Oakroot, but he ran off to the beach. Should I answer only in the Clearing-RP or also in the Beach-RP?

Thx.

I am a little confused though..... This is taking place mid-day..... but aren't Wolfriders nightdwellers?
I don't remember who says it, but some one said she never woke up this late, but the sun isn't at his highest point. Oakroot is just awake because he want to check his weapons, which works better with daylight...
Or are the Wolffolk different, more daylightdwellers, because they live near the Seafolk?

I would think that some are and some aren't it would depend on the elf. Its mid morning as far as I was thinking but i could be off. either way it's not yet noon i would think.

Again it's just up to the players how their elves act. if they are up more during the day or not, totally up to the player.

agreed. probably at this point, the WolfFolk have all worked out schedules of their own, so there will be a point when they are all awake and interacting, even if they sleep at different times.

Could I get your guys' opinion on something? What would you think would be a good age for Tern to have started getting his magic abilities?

I think it also depends on how strong his magic is. The stronger it is the more likely it is he had it from his younger years.

He doesn't have very strong magic ability, so maybe it would've come in a little later?

Well, he is 300+. I don't know how old Redlance was when his magic showed, but he must have been 40+.... will check the website to see if I can find it..
EDIT: 'he was well in his adulthood, but he was always atuned to the lifeforce of he forest'

You could do that with Tern too. Able to know strong curents, tides, ebb and flood (not sure you call it that way in english).
