I completely forgot to add one with Lace, the Sea folk tailor. Though she wouldn't be picky about which Preserver's silk she uses.

She can have Gemshine the second one that is on there. I even mentioned her in it's info. ^_^

I just realized something we need (in my opinion) now that we have preservers in play:

A list of Preserver names for the elves!

I mean, in canon EQ, the Preservers call each elf by a name of their own invention. Dewshine is Sunnygold Highthing, for example, and Cutter is Busyhead Highthing.

So... this is how it was done in those other Holts I mentioned that had Preservers: each player would invent names for their characters, to be used by the Preservers when speaking to them or about them. Making official names would keept things consistent and help identify who is being talked about. All names for elves should end with 'Highthing'. (If we had trolls or humans, they'd be dig-digs and bigthings).

... but this is just my suggestion and I understand if the admins disagree.

I was thinking about that. If you would rather Skybolt be called something else let me know.

OK we've talked and if someone wants to volunteer to keep the thread/list we'll allow it otherwise just stick it in the elves profile.

I will go ahead and make it since I have a wolfriders guide and can make up a dictionary of EQ and new words for their glossary. I will post the two Preservers profiles there as well as leaving them in the NPC's Adoptable's list.

Just message me the name for characters, if it is a NPC we can post it to the thread and pick one we all like for the most part? Who is good at Drawing preservers? >puts finger on tip of nose< not it X-P

Sry I have not been up on my flora project have ideas but the scanner is still being a punk and I have been playing in Paint with the wolves more than I have been drawing.

alright guys? Kai and i have noticed a trend that we are not liking, so...

You can NOT make a post with just a NPC character. the post must center around one of your characters. We feel that this can be used as an unfair way to get around the 2 characters only rule. So please remember, NPC's are meant to be used briefly to help advance the story, and they should not be the focus of an entire post.

Sounds good! I have gotten a couple names for elves so far. Keep'em coming folks. Also if you want any words added that you think of the fit for the Holt and have not been used in RP or if I miss one in the RP let me know ^_^

So... I don't quite understand the new rule. I mean, I know why you made it and why it's a good rule, but I don't get the meaning. Do you mean that, for example, Skybolt and Ripeberry can't go off on their own, but must be accompanied by a player character? Or does it mean that they can still be by themselves, as long as me and Delhya post something with our actual characters in the same post, even if our actual characters are in a different location?

the latter one. we have no problem with people using the NPC's, we're happy they are there to provide more variety! what does bother us is people making a post solely around that NPC as if it were their official character. as i said before, we need to make sure the NPC's are not used as a way around the 2 characters per player rule.

though the former can work as well! it's pretty much NPC's cannot have a post all to themselves, and that's all that it is. does that help leanan?^^

Just so you guys know, I've had problems today accessing this forum and other forumotion.com forums on my computer. Instead of the forum site I've typed the address of, I've been getting what seems to be the Finnish version of forumotion's page advertising how I can make forums of my own. This doesn't happen every time, but I have no control over it. So if I vanish suddenly, it is that damned ad's fault.

so i started my new class monday. I graduate next month. if i disappear you now know why school and other stuff has taken over my life.

Just a note, I'm uncomfortable playing NPCs and characters that weren't my direct creation (and I'm not even super comfortable play NPCs that I did create), so... yeah.
