Congrats, Ember!

Thanks! I was hit with inspiration today and I'm going to start working on a new book series.

Wish I had the focus to sit down and write more. What is it about?

The one I got inspiration for is about humans colonizing new planets and the challenges that the main characters have to face.

Cool! Sounds Sci-fi like. Let us know when you get it published so we can check it out or me at least lol. ^_^

yeah but i don't know what to do with my time now. for years it was school work and now i don't have that so I'm at a lost for what to do. I think i should start modeling stuff on my own but for so long they told me what to do.. and it's not been easy to figure out what i want to do.

The one I just finished is about a young man whose brother died. He's trying to get his life back on track. It's much more introspective than the one I just started.

That's seems very difficult to write, to put emotions on paper is never easy.

To be honest, writing has always come more easily to me than any other kind of art. It's said that writing is putting your entire being into it and it's true. Whatever you write is a part of you. Wow... That sounds really cheesy.

But it is True. I read some of my old poetry from High school I came across the other day. brings back a lot of feelings and memories. ^_^

I completely agree. I think that all art is a part of you to some extent (whether its direct or more abstractly connected).

You can really say you put your whole being into any kind of art. I honestly love all types of art, and enjoy doing them (except dance.. that's something I only like to watch :'D).

I think, though, that writing and theatre come easiest to me. I paint and draw and stuff, but I'm always best when I'm looking at something else, so I don't create a lot of my own things.

I've always felt that theatre and writing are closely associated because in both you have to be able to imagine a setting, but more importantly be able to assume many different kinds of characters, understanding and portraying their feelings. Again, though, the same could be said with other types of art. It's all very connected

I will think on it lol I am surprised I can post these songs I make up. I am not great with my confidence in sharing that kinda stuff typically. Stories are a different thing though. I will see and maybe pick a few poems. They aren't anything award winning just to give you guys a heads up lol.
