Oakroot's Den Empty Re: Oakroot's Den

Oakroot entered his den. He had been sleepy when he woke up, but the walk home had woken him. He wanted to do something, before setting traps.
He looked around and started to tidy up his den. He had been fortunate to live in one of the larger dens, he had offered to switch dens with the one who wanted or needed more space. But every one wanted him to keep his den. He was gratefull, because he had lived in here with his younger brother, Redfern.

And at times his niece and nephew had lived with him, before they had a place of their own. Stormcloud and Ridge didn't need him as much any more, but at times they visited him and shared stories and memories. He always liked that.

He put his furs in his nest, it was a little higher then the rest and covered with furs most of the time. In the walls here andvthere were smal alcoves for little candles and small trinkets. His most precious possessions were the headpieces of his mother and father, they had a matching pair. To honor them he and Redfern had simular belts. Redfern's belt laid in the same alcove....
He felt sad again! What was wrong with him, he never was like this! He didn't even could blame the Dreamberries, because he hadn't eaten them much or drank too much wine last night... He felt something was missing in his life, but he couldn't pinpoint what.

He looked at his weapons. It seemed his bow and spear needed replacing. He bundled his weapons and gathered his tools and stepped outside again. In daylight it was much easier.
