that is your choice. if you decide you want to change your name to either of your characters if you decide to have more than one, you are free to do that. Just please let a member of the staff know if you want to do this!

Hello! I'm Tehaar from Finland. I joined this forum to read about your Holt and get familiar with it before deciding whether to join the RP.

EQ Holts have been my hobby for a few years now, and I'm currently a member at Oakleaf Holt. I also participated in Mirrors Lake Holt and Three Moons Holt when they were still active. I like a traditional setting that is close to canon, so that got me interested in High Cove. I'm not all that into Wavedancers though.

I'm still undecided about creating a character, but thought I'd introduce myself and say hi!

another finland member, cool! i find it kind of interesting you and leanan are from finland.^^ i'm very happy though you wanted to check out my Holt, and i hope you've liked what you see so far! i really wanted to make something simple but detailed, something that would make people think but not be so complex it takes over the enjoyment. you most certainly do not have to be part of the SeaFolk tribe if you don't like water elves!

in fact, your character could possibly be one of those elves who just really dislikes and distrusts the SeaFolk tribe. i hope you decide to make a character! but if not, i hope you'll hang around to enjoy the storylines.^^

I knew Tehaar from Three Moons Holt and before, but us both being Finnish is just a coincidence, ElfQuest is what brought us together. *waves at Tehaar* Hi!    <-the most Finnish emoticon, because Santa Claus lives in Finland!

I'm not actually in the middle of nowhere, though. It's just fun to play up Canadian stereotypes

it'd be funnier if you played up the maple syrup stereotype...who doesn't like maple syrup??!

...besides, i'm pretty sure they use igloos in alaska, not canda...XD

Alaska is basically Canada (geography wise) ;P Igloos are used in northern Canada too Once someone asked me if I lived in an igloo lol

And I must admit, there was a time when I used maple syrup every day to sweeten my oatmeal (still use it when I have oatmeal)

They're different country wise but Alaska is attached to Canada. Part of the westcoast of 'Canada' is actually Alasaka even

Mmmm! Except I don't usually put brown sugar in :O But if you take oatmeal and put some banana, walnuts, and natural maple syrup in it it is delicious

Hello, I'm Ember Robinwood. I've been reading ElfQuest since I was a old enough for my sister to let me read them (she got them brand new when they first came out and was hesitant to let me read them when I was a kid). I'm a physics major going to a small college close to home, but I hope to transfer to the University of London in a couple of years. I hope to get a PhD in a few years and become an Astrophysicist; eventually working for the European Space Agency
